1. Introduction

Welcome to Travmeejoy ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Travmeejoy mobile application ("App") available on iOS and Android platforms. By accessing or using our App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Use of the App

Travmeejoy allows users to create and participate in activities organized by other users. To use the App, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements.

You agree to use the App in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and not for any unlawful purposes.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.

4. Geolocation Services

Travmeejoy utilizes your geolocation data to provide personalized activity recommendations and to connect you with other users in your vicinity. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your geolocation information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can manage your geolocation settings within the App's settings menu.

5. Payments and Stripe Connect

Travmeejoy integrates Stripe Connect to facilitate payments between users for activities that require fees or transactions. By processing payments through our App, we are not a party to any transaction between users.

All payment information is handled securely through Stripe, and we do not store any sensitive financial information on our servers. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for more details on how your payment information is managed.

6. Firebase Authentication and Analytics

We utilize Firebase Authentication to manage user sign-ins and ensure secure access to the App. Firebase Analytics is employed to collect data on App usage to help us improve your experience.

By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in Firebase's Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the App's functionalities.

7. Advertising with AdMob

Travmeejoy displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support the App's services. These ads are tailored based on your usage patterns and preferences.

Advertisements may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure their effectiveness. You can manage your ad preferences through your device settings.settings.

8. Hosting and Data Storage

Our App is hosted on Vultr.com servers, ensuring reliable and scalable infrastructure to support our services. We store user data securely in MongoDB databases, implementing industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Regular backups and security audits are conducted to maintain the integrity and availability of user data.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed within the App are the property of Travmeejoy or their respective owners. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials from the App is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Travmeejoy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the App's content or functionality.

In no event shall Travmeejoy, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Travmeejoy and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and any provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Travmeejoy operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update our Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
